Carla finds joy in discovering and supporting organizations and individuals who are working towards building inclusive societies where differences are valued and respected.
Carla’s professional experience includes strategic communications, project and event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development. Her previous international experiences have taken her to volunteer with grassroots organizations in Malawi fighting for women’s and girls’ rights, and to complete an internship with the UN Migration Regional Office for Central and North America and the Caribbean. She holds and undergraduate degree in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa and a postgraduate diploma in Women and Global Public Policy from the University of Chile. In her free time, Carla enjoys dancing to the rhythm of Latin American music, discovering new cuisines, and travelling.
