Andrea supports the Global Analysis program’s goal of promoting pro-pluralistic social transformation.
Prior to joining the Centre, Andrea worked collaboratively with survivors of sexual violence in conflict-affected areas, including Uganda and Colombia, advocating for their sexual and reproductive health rights. She has conducted trainings on knowledge mobilization, focusing on the use of open-source tools and database to support research projects. Andrea’s commitment to working towards a world where everybody has a shared sense of belonging does not end with the Centre, through her volunteer work with advocacy organizations across Canada. She holds a MA in Public and International Affairs as well as a Diploma in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from York University. She is proudly trilingual, speaking English, Spanish and French. In her free time, Andrea enjoys going to third-wave coffee shops, reading classic novels, and crochet.
