For the first time, after the Award ceremony in Ottawa, we convened in Toronto to showcase pluralist solutions to key global challenges through the Awardees’ work. We organized a half-day conference exploring how minds change, how movements endure and how inclusive societies take shape with Canadian pluralism leaders and practitioners, in partnership with OCAD University and the DemocracyXChange and featuring a live recording for CBC Radio’s Ideas podcast. We concluded the week with a community screening of short films featuring the Award Laureates, in partnership with Hot Docs.
As the new laureates join a growing alumni network, they will embark on a program of support and engagement throughout 2026, amplifying their impact.
