On December 4, 2020, the Centre participated in a roundtable entitled “Improving the Situation of Indigenous and Afro-Descendants in Colombia: Implementation of the Ethnic Chapter’s Commitments to Truth and Non-Repetition”.

This roundtable provided an opportunity for members of the diplomatic community, to explore what is happening in ethnic regions of Colombia and how Canada and the international community can support the fulfilment of commitments made in the Ethnic Chapter as a response to Covid-19 and ongoing violence.
