Son travail lui a permis de voyager d\u2019un bout \u00e0 l\u2019autre de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord et dans les Cara\u00efbes. Elle a \u00e9galement r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des ateliers dans le secteur technologique sur le changement de perspectives quant aux strat\u00e9gies et technologies de pr\u00e9vention de la violence sexuelle. Shaunel poss\u00e8de une ma\u00eetrise en communications de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Carleton. Sa th\u00e8se portait sur la relation entre l\u2019humour, les m\u00e9dias alternatifs et la repr\u00e9sentation des Noirs.
