Tunisia: Seven Years after the Revolution Achievements and Challenges
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Seven years after the revolution, Tunisia strives to consolidate its democratic achievements after the adoption in 2014 of one of the most pioneering constitutions. The local elections on May 6, 2018, a first in the modern-day history of Tunisia, present an opportunity for local governance and decentralization.
Economic and social challenges remain in order to meet the many aspirations and expectations of the Tunisian youth who initiated the revolution for freedom and dignity in late 2010.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia, His Excellency Mr. Khemaies Jhinaoui, will discuss these challenges in a dialogue with Dr. Rouba Alfattal at the Global Centre for Pluralism.
The discussion will take place in French, simultaneous interpretation to English will be available.
