The Global Centre for Pluralism’s beautiful, one-of-a-kind facilities at 330 Sussex Drive were originally built in 1905 to serve as the Dominion Archives of Canada, and later housed the Canadian War Museum. Beautifully appointed spaces of various sizes are available for executive meetings, seminars, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, receptions, banquets, remote meetings and more.

This building’s central location on Sussex Drive offers easy access to hotels, the ByWard Market, the National Gallery and downtown Ottawa.

Dialogue Centre

Perfect for lecture-style events, workshops, cocktail receptions or intimate or formal banquets. White oak panelling carved in a trefoil pattern gives this room warmth and character. Two built-in partitions allow for multiple room configurations. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual and livestreaming technologies.

Forecourt Plaza

A premier outdoor venue. Landscaped gardens surround a plaza which can be tented for special events, making it an ideal spot for a wedding reception and ceremony, large corporate cocktail reception, fashion show or photo shoot. The Forecourt is equipped to accommodate temporary heating, additional lighting and audio-visual systems.

 

Seminar Room

Perfect for executive meetings, press briefings and presentations. Elegant finishings include white oak millwork and wood floors A focal point of the room is the original 1905 fireplace, which has been restored. Furniture can be rearranged to accommodate various activities.

Lobby

This bright, modern space can be set up for cocktail receptions, food and beverage stations for working lunches and display booths. Th copper bay window in the lobby was designed to connect the building with the Ottawa River and serve as a beacon visible from the opposite bank.

Meeting Room

Located on the second floor, this bright space with high ceilings and views to both the Ottawa River and the forecourt can be arranged for workshops, meals, break-out activities and more.
