Eduardo Stein of Guatemala joins Board of Directors
The Global Centre for Pluralism is delighted to welcome Eduardo Stein, former Vice-President (2004-2006) and Foreign Minister (1996-2000) of the Republic of Guatemala to its Board of Directors. Mr. Stein brings a wealth of international experience to the Centre.
Australia's Governor-General on Valuing Diversity
On April 5, 2013, Her Excellency Quentin Bryce delivered the keynote address of her official Canadian tour at the Centre. In her remarks, the Governor-General traced the origin and importance of her country's commitment to valuing diversity.
Post-immigration "difference" and integration in Europe
In April 2012, Tariq Modood -- founding director of the University of Bristol's Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship and co-founding editor of the international journal Ethnicities -- spoke at the Centre about the state of multiculturalism in Europe.
